I just want to take a minute to document this wonderful day. We've actually had a great week (as a whole) and I'm thrilled in moments like this when I can look out all over my peaceful classroom and see 22 sets of eyes that are glued to the pages of books.
Praise You Lord for the beautiful moments that, though fleeting, keep us going...

Yay! I'm so glad things are going well and you're encouraged! Happy Thanksgiving! Are you still celebrating in Honduras this year?
We are celebrating... just not in a very typical way. Since we operate on a calendar very similar to the States, we will not have school on Thursday and Friday. The students will have a half-day on Wednesday, and we will spend that afternoon at a faculty Thanksgiving dinner provided by the school. Then from Thursday through Saturday, I'm going with a group to Amapala (apparently it's an island on the Pacific side with a volcano and black sand!)... We'll be having a turkey dinner there on Friday. :)
